About Me

My journey to becoming a therapist has been shaped by years of showing up for others and, over time, learning how to show up more fully for myself. Through my own experiences, I’ve seen that healing is rarely a one-size-fits-all process.

It often involves many layers: traditional therapy, medication when needed, deep introspective work, and supportive practices such as breathwork, meditation, and other alternative approaches. Each person’s path is unique, and I believe in honoring the whole individual, mind, body, and spirit, while helping them navigate the different pieces that contribute to lasting growth and well-being.

My Approach to Therapy

My work is trauma-informed and mind-body centered. I draw on EMDR, exposure therapy, mindfulness, breathwork, meditation, and principles from Adlerian theory, weaving these tools into therapy in ways that meet you where you are. Being trauma-informed means that I approach therapy with awareness of how past experiences of stress or trauma can affect the body, mind, and relationships, and I prioritize creating a safe, supportive space where you feel seen and respected. Therapy is not about fixing something broken; it’s about exploring, reconnecting, and moving toward your own version of healing, courage, and meaningful connection.

Mindfulness is more than a buzzword for me; it is a way of living with presence and compassion, especially when life feels heavy. I have a daily meditation and breathwork practice that helps me stay grounded both personally and professionally. These practices remind me how to come back to myself, even when the world feels disconnected.

Healing Beyond Words

Over time, I have learned that talk therapy alone does not always reach the deepest parts of healing. Sometimes, healing means going beyond words—into the body, into stillness, and into places where language falls short. My work honors that deeper journey, supporting whatever form of healing feels right for you.

Nature Is My Happy Place

Hiking, camping, mountain views, and quiet mornings in the backyard with coffee watching squirrels all bring me joy. I also love to explore new places, whether that’s a hidden trail, a national park, or a quiet corner of my own neighborhood. I’m always up for a road trip with a good playlist, and I enjoy evenings with a good book or movie. I didn’t truly understand the power of being outside and connecting with nature until later in life, and sometimes I wonder how I ever lived without it. Nature grounds me and inspires the calm, present energy I bring to therapy.
